Catherine Schumacher, an Upstate native, is a proud product of South Carolina’s public schools and a champion for public education, serving as President & CEO of Public Education Partners (PEP) since 2019. Catherine’s twenty-eight-year career in the nonprofit sector has included positions with major cultural organizations in New York and Boston, and fifteen as a Greenville-based strategic consultant with a particular focus on fund development and planning in education, social and human services, and arts and culture. A graduate of Harvard University, she is a Board member of The Warehouse Theatre, where she serves on the Executive Committee; a member of the Steering and Advocacy Committees of Greater Good Greenville; and a Riley Fellow.
